Sony Producer: Denzel Washington Shouldn’t Star in Films Because He’s Black [More Email Leaks!]
More damaging SONY emails are coming to light, thanks to the hack by a group allegedly called Guardians of Peace. In the latest hacked email correspondence, a Sony producer (whose name was not shared) suggested that Denzel Washington shouldn’t star in any film that they plan to market overseas.
Why? Because the international market is ‘racist’. In the email, the producer refers to Denzel’s most recent film released in September, stating:
No, I am not saying ‘The Equalizer’ should not have been made or that African-American actors should not have been used (I personally think Denzel is the best actor of his generation).
