‘Sorority Sisters’ Cast Defend Themselves Against Critics + Watch ‘The Dialogue’ Special
Will the controversy ever end?
That’s the question that surround VH1’s reality TV show, Sorority Sisters. The non-scripted show gives VH1 viewers a rare glimpse into the unique world of ATL Greek life. The cast includes nine women who are both friends and sisters (or ‘sorors’) from historically black colleges and universities in Atlanta.
Unfortunately, the show has received backlash, causing some to protest online. What’s more some advertisers have pulled out, from the pressure from the public, refusing to advertise while the show airs.
In response to some of the backlash, VH1 aired Sorority Sisters – The Dialogue immediately following this week’s episode. The special event, hosted by Tanika Ray, addressed the buzz and criticism of the new series.
