[Twitter Tussle] Azealia Banks Calls Erykah Badu Jealous & Old
Is Azealia Banks becoming the female version of Kanye West? By that, we mean, the 23-year-old emcee is known to speak her mind, despite whether or not it’s a popular opinion.
On Valentine’s Day, while some were cup cakin’ with bae, Banks found herself in a bit of a twitter fall-out with Erykah Badu. The social media spat, began when one of Badu’s followers asked if she listened to Banks’ music. Apparently Badu doesn’t (listen to her music) but replied that she’s actually tried to:

I actually dig Azealia but sound like insecurity to me. I mean what exactly does she have or accomplished that Erykah would or should be jealous of lol. Erykah still getting paid, touring the world whenever and wherever she wants, making music whenever she wants. Azealia can make all the slick comments she wants, in the end she still loses on principle alone.
“Eryka tried it?” man please. why do people have to be accused of jealousy or hatred when they don’t like something. there are lots of people not feeling banks. Jealousy has NOTHING to do with it. And “killed her”…you are too dramatic. smh, kids these days. Eryka has accomplished so much and is now doing what she dreamed of-delivering babies. her music will live on forever whether she makes more or not. banks certainly can’t say the same.
Erykah not thinking about that child one way or the other. She is not jealous of her, for what? She doesn’t get involved in that kind of nonsense.
I tried listening to Azealia, too…couldn’t do it. I guess that makes me jealous?? Azealia needs to grow up. Not everyone is going to feel her. Quite frankly I wasn’t impressed AT ALL.
