Jay Z, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Daft Punk, Jakc White, Jason Aldean, Usher, members of Arcade of Fire, deadmau5, Chris Martin, Calvin Harris and a slate of other A-list artists celebrated the co-ownership of Tidal, a new streaming service that’s described as the first artist-owned platform for music and video.
On Monday, the official press list was held with the co-owners in Manhattan, at the Skylight at Moynihan Station. Similar to Spotify, consumers subscribe (it’s a membership based service) to access music and video content both online and offline, using computers, tablets and smartphones.
Afterward, a few co-owners celebrated with a festive after-party.
