And in other news, Being Mary Jane’s leading lady — Gabrielle Union — has snagged a new role.

In the thriller ‘Sleepless Night’, Gabrielle will play opposite of Jamie Foxx.

Directed by Baran bo Odar, the film is a remake of the French film Nuit Blanche. According to the Hollywood Reporter,  the film’s plot

tells of a corrupt cop (Foxx) who must retrieve a bag of stolen cocaine to save his son from a murderous crime boss, all the while dodging the man’s henchmen during one night in a casino. Also chasing him are internal-affairs officers, one of whom is played by Michelle Monaghan.
