NFL’er Ray McDonald Arrested For Allegedly Hitting Woman Holding A Baby

The Chicago Bears have since fired Ray. The team had taken a chance on Ray, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers last year due to sexual assault allegations.

During that same year, he was also arrested in a domestic violence case against his pregnant fiancee. The Bears General Manager said in a statement:

We believe in second chances, but when we signed Ray, we were very clear what our expectations were if he was to remain a Bear. He was not able to meet the standard, and the decision was made to release him.
