Nipsey Hussle Talks Turning Down ‘NWA Movie’ + Dating Lauren London: I always knew she’d be my girlfriend. [VIDEO]

He shares that they’ve been dating for two years, but maintain a relatively low profile. Nipsey also talks about why he turned down “Straight Outta Compton”:

I told them all the same thang — and you know — those dudes is icons, legends and them are the people I grew up listening to. But I studied branding. And one of the laws is you don’t walk in no great man’s shoes. You don’t do that. At the end of the day, you know — I think I could have pulled it off, authentic, cuz I grew up on Snoop. I just feel like it’s people in America, in the world that might not of heard Nipsey Hussle yet. Might not get exposed to what I’m doing yet. And that might be the first time they get exposed to it — as an actor portraying Snoop. I was considering too, but I gotta stick to my guns.
