WNBA’s Brittney Griner Pulls Plug On Marriage After 28 Days, Files For Annulment

Brittney issued a statement saying,

Last Wednesday, Glory and I agreed to either legally separate, get divorced, or annul our marriage. In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake.

The couple jumped the broom on May 8th in Arizona, shortly after a domestic violence incident took place between them at their home. The WNBA suspended both women for 7 games. [TMZ, Instagram]
