Master P Talks New Reality Show & Split From Wife: I can’t call it a hood divorce, it’s for real. [VIDEO]
They also dished about the new hit show, Empire. Master P is a fan and added,
A lot of people told me it’s based on my family. I think it’s a good show, I’m happy for them.
Of his new reality show, he explains:
It’s not like the shows you normally see out there. It’s like coming from a hip-hop family. My kids are about education and going to school. I changed my life and I want to give them a better life. We’re not the perfect family, we go through trials and tribulations like everyone else.
Wendy asked, “What would you say if she (Master P’s daughter) was 17 years old, dating a 25 year old rapper with a baby’s mother and child,” referring to Tyga’s rumored relationship with Kylie Jenner. Master P smiled and said,
I’m from the projects, you know that ain’t going to happen in my house. I’m not the Kardashian’s though. I’m not. We’re two different people, some people raise their family different. That’s what I like about my show, it’s going to be real, it’s going to be real family values. I tell my kids all the time, ‘I’m not your friend, I’m your father.’
