Remy Ma must have had a change of heart, because last year (after her release from prison), Remy denied reports that she was joining the show. During an interview with Sway In the Morning, On Shade 45, she explained:

That’s not something that I would want to do. I think certain things should be between you and your family members. And also, I can’t put myself in a situation where I might end up in prison again. I can’t tolerate people yelling at me, throwing things at me or spitting in my direction. I have to be cautious of the things I involve myself with.
