Drake Responds to Meek Mill In ‘Charged Up’: No woman ever had me star struck! [New Music]
“I see you n*ggas having trouble going gold … Come and live all your dreams in OVO…No woman ever had me star struck … Or was able to tell me to get my bars up/ I’m charged up.”
As you know, rap is a competitive sport. So it’s no surprise that Drake has reacted to reports that he heavily uses a ghostwriter. As previously reported [click here for the full back story], earlier this week, Meek Mill went on a Twitter vent of sorts, accusing the Toronto rapper of not writing his own lyrics.
Drake has responded to these accusations with a track called, ‘Charged Up’. The track was released on Drake’s Beats 1 Radio program and starts off with the line:
I did some charity today for the kids …. But I’m used to it cause y’all charity cases … Six God is watching … I’m just hoping you prepared to face him.
