(EXCLUSIVE) Bill Cosby Demands Court Allow Him to Grill Lawyer of Alleged Sexual Assault Victim
He says that the newspaper was able to obtain a copy of the complete transcript for his depo from a court reporting service that Troiani had hired. He blames her for the leak to the NY Times.
He adds that the circumstances are “suspicious” and he should be allowed to explore whether Andrea Constand’s lawyers played a role in the leak.
Cosby says the settlement agreement he reached with Andrea stated nothing would be revealed including his depo and says that the court service claimed they thought it was okay to release his depo but then they refused to release Andrea’s depo when a media outlet contacted them.
Cosby also states that Andrea’s lawyer denied she had any part in the leak. He then questioned her and the woman’s other lawyers for their role in “recent events” – such as the leak – that he says she had so earnestly sought to bring about and from which she is now trying to profit.
He is demanding the judge allow him to grill her under oath about the leaked depo which has tarnished his image.
