Lira Galore Says Photo With Meek Mill Caused Break-Up With Rick Ross
Lira Galore is finally opening up about her split from rapper Rick Ross. As you know, in 2015 the pair became engaged, but things fizzled out late last year. In an interview with Global Grind, Galore shares how they first met and how vintage photo damaged their relationship. Peep a few excerpts.
How she met Ross:
I met Ross on the set of the “Thug Cry” video with Lil Wayne, but we didn’t start talking until later, because on set it was just a work vibe. We met again All-Star Weekend and he grabbed me like, ‘yo, I’ve been looking for you.’ We exchanged numbers and the rest is history.
Social media reaction’s to their relationship:
This was my first time in a public relationship, so I was happy about putting it out there. But people on social media don’t like to see that type of stuff, so they dug up old stuff that didn’t matter.
Old tweets and a vintage photo with Meek Mill when she was a stripper going viral:
I’m not worried about the picture with Meek. It was just a picture that I posted on my Instagram. I was at work, I used to dance and it was just a picture.
How the negative attention caused their split:
I think the initial breakup was a combination of everything from people digging up tweets when I was 17-years-old tweeting about different people, to the picture of Meek. I went to his (Ross’) tagged photos one day and it was only that picture of Meek, and it was just that photo. Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was just nothing. I feel like during that time apart he realized he was tripping, so we got back together.
How she feels about their split:
We just decided to go our separate ways. I’m 22 and this was my first time in love and I put it out there. I’m still in love with him, but some things don’t go as you would like them to go.

Lira, you will bounce back. Your a TEXAN boo
Old people have a saying: Men can walk out the house completely naked, and go back in, put a suit on; society won’t think twice, but if a woman walk out the house naked, and put clothes on she’s known as a whore. There’s a double standard, it’s not fair but that’s reality. She’s young and made mistakes we all have and will, hopefully she will continue to change, and bless her for being honest. But, if she wants to be respected as an actress, her agent should steer her away from posing in underwear or semi-nude.
I never heard that one.And I’m one of those old people.lol
