Khloe Kardashian Files For Divorce From Lamar Odom For the 2nd Time
It’s over again for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. The reality star has filed for divorce from estranged husband for the second time. According to court documents, Khloe has cited irreconcilable differences.
A source tells People,
A divorce was a long time coming. She was loyal for a long time and taking care of him, but she’s not a babysitter and needs to move on with her life. She’s honestly fine and it’s more of a formality at this point. She’s there for him and they’re in regular contact and she wishes him well. She’ll always be there for him. But as far as their marriage is concerned, that’s over and has been for quite some time. It was time to make it official.
On September 27, 2009, Kardashian married the former NBA player, who was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers at the time. The couple were married exactly one month after they met at a party for Odom’s teammate Metta World Peace. Following her marriage, Kardashian removed her middle name to include her married surname, becoming Khloé Kardashian Odom.
On December 13, 2013, after months of speculated separation, Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom and for legal restoration of her last name. Divorce papers were signed by both parties in July 2015; however, the divorce had yet to receive final approval from a judge.
In October 2015, Odom was hospitalized after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, and was in a coma for four days; as he lay in a hospital, Kardashian withdrew her pending divorce petition.
Since her separation from Odom, Khloe dated French Montana on and off for several months and basketball player James Harden.
