Jhene Aiko: The divorce wasn’t my fault!

Jhene Aiko is speaking out (sorta) addressing a few critics that are pointing the finger at her for the reason why she and Dot Da Genius have split. Over the weekend, she responded to a few tweets, questioning the demise of their relationship. In one tweet she wrote:
I only cheated myself, so glad to be free from all the drugs, depression and confrontation.
As previously reported, last week news hit that the singer officially filed from divorce from husband/producer Dot Da Genius after less than a year of marriage. If you remember, the pair confirmed their marriage via Instagram with Dot posting,

The photo appeared to have been taken on their wedding day, during their wedding ceremony. Late last year, reports surfaced when Genius referred to Jhene as his wife. Since then, Jhene has caught a lot of heat for her relationship with Big Sean.

The pair formed the group TWENTY88 and released an album together earlier this year. Soon afterwards, they were spotted kissing, holding hands and being very touchy at various events. Jhene cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce and asked the judge to deny spousal support.
