Nick Cannon Explains Decision to Enroll at Howard University
Over the weekend, Nick Cannon announced that he is a freshman, enrolled at Howard University. Sharing a post on Instagram in front of Howard’s sign, he wrote:
You KNOW!!!! #HU2020 My first day as a freshman!!! Howard University Class of 202o.
According to a source, the 35-year-old TV host/actor/artist/producer will continue school while juggling his multiple gigs.
He is going to be on campus taking classes, obviously it’s not going to be every day. But he is going to be on campus as much as possible.
Cannon explained his decision to go to college,
Nelson Mandela once said, ‘Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world,’ and with that said I have officially enrolled at Howard University. I am always seeking new challenges and continual growth and decided to obtain my first college degree from an institution that had a proven legacy of producing great minds. I have friends, mentors and colleagues who attended Howard University. I have heard about the famed Howard Homecoming since I was a kid growing up in California and knew that Howard would be the perfect place for me to further my education. I look forward to this new journey in my life and am excited about the possibilities ahead.
Howard University is a federally chartered, private, co-educational, nonsectarian, historically black university (HBCU) in Washington, D.C. In addition to the undergraduate program, Howard has graduate schools in business, engineering, pharmacy, law, social work, education, communications, art, science, divinity, dentistry, and medicine.

Nick just wanted Roland Martin off his back. Nick still has an obligation to tell the public that he was wrong in his views that he was not going to vote until black lives mattered. He mislead a lot of Black people and his ignorant stance could affect the the outcome of this election.
