(EXCLUSIVE) Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson Pulled Over: No Registration, No Insurance & Bad Tags
(EXCLUSIVE) Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson Pulled Over
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, ex-NFL star Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson can’t catch a break — with him currently facing foreclosure on his Miami home and self-admitted financial problems – and recently he was pulled over by Florida Highway Patrol and ordered to appear in court this month.
According to court records, Chad was driving on the highway on September 6th at around 6:40pm. A Highway Patrol officer pulled him over while he was driving solo in his 2004 Black Mercedes Benz.
During the stop, Chad failed to provide current proof of registration, had no documents showing he had insurance and his tags were expired for over 6 months. The officer also noted Chad’s car windshield was completely tinted.
The former NFL star has been ordered to appear in court on October 14th. He has the option to pay the fines, but given his history with traffic court he may be facing some trouble.
Last year, a Florida judge issued a warrant for Chad’s arrest after he blew off an arraignment on charges of driving on a suspended license. He was cited in May and was ordered to show up to court but he skipped the hearing
The ex-NFL star reportedly sent his lawyer to court to handle the issue and eventually the warrant was squashed before he could be picked up by law enforcement.
