Yandy Smith NOT Legally Married To Mendeecees

It appears that one of Love & Hip Hop NY’s favorite reality TV couples are not married! In an upcoming teaser for the show, Yandy Smith admits that she and Mendeecees Harris are not legally married.

As you may recall, in 2015 they made their love official, tying the knot on national TV on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding.

The couple, who have dated on-and-off for eight years and have two children together, exchanged vows at Weylin B. Seymour’s, with a two hour special.

[FYI: Earlier this year, Mendeecees went to jail after pleading guilty on drug trafficking charges. The 36-year-old rap manager was sentenced to eight years in prison.] Mendeecees has taken to Instagram responding to claims that he and Yandy are not married.

Our guess is Yandy will clarify their marital status after the next LHHNY episode airs. P.S. Are we surprised that their marriage isn’t legal?
