Azealia Banks Suffers Miscarriage, Later Pens Reckless Open Letter To Nicki Minaj: You’re not the queen of rap!
Azealia Banks Suffers Miscarriage, Trashes Nicki Minaj
Azealia Banks has suffered a miscarriage. On Tuesday (December 20th), the controversial rapper took to Facebook, sharing a few alarming posts and later deleting them. One post revealed that she had a miscarriage and is in shock over the situation. She wrote and later deleted:
So I’ve just had a really major life event happen and I want to talk about it because this wouldn’t be an Azealia Banks page without loads of oversharing right? Anywho, I’ve just had a miscarriage and am pretty taken aback by it all and really confused and in shock and guilty and a bit depressed and like a failure and very ashamed. Has anyone else had this same experience who cares to share some words of wisdom or words of anything regarding this topic. The self-loathing bit is a real struggle for me at the moment so share any words here, They will be greatly appreciated. Thanks’
Another post, which was also deleted, was a lengthy rant criticizing Nicki Minaj. See the full post below.
Reportedly, her Minaj dragging session was in response to Minaj’s newly released mobile game — Nicki Minaj: The Empire. Allegedly, there is a fictional artist called Fan2Sea whose song sounds like “what a mermaid would sound like,” which is essentially a “loud, obnoxious screech.” Banks has a 2012 mixtape called Fantasea, so some assume it’s a dig at Banks.
Minaj has yet to comment.
