Shonda Rhimes Developing Series Based On Luvvie Ajayi Book
Congrats to Luvvie Ajayi! The rights to her book, I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual, have been acquired by Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers’ Shondaland with plans to be developed as a cable comedy series. Reportedly, the project falls under Shondaland’s overall deal at ABC Studios and its cable division, ABC Signature.
Ajayi began her career in marketing and digital strategy, and started blogging 2003. Her site AwesomelyLuvvie.com amassed a following particularly for Ajayi’s recaps of television shows like Scandal, drawing the attention of Shonda Rhimes.
