(EXCLUSIVE) Stevie J Drops Drug Test Demand Against Joseline Hernandez, Stops Fighting For Primary Custody
Stevie J Drops Drug Test Demand Against Joseline Hernandez
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Stevie J has dropped his request to have his baby mama Joseline Hernandez drug tested in their legal battle over custody and support of their newborn daughter.
Here’s the latest: On February 9th, days after his sentencing in his criminal case, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star went to Georgia court in his legal battle with his baby mama/cast mate.
Stevie filed a voluntary dismissal of his motion demanding Joseline be drug tested and his request for primary custody. The two appear to have reached some sort of agreement after their daughter arrived. The case will continue on with a custody schedule & support order yet to be decided.
Here’s the backstory: Joseline sued her baby daddy seeking to have his take a DNA test and pay a portion of her medical expenses during her pregnancy. The reality star also wanted a court order for child support and parenting plan in place for custody.
Stevie responded, requesting primary physical custody of their then yet-to-be born child, accusing her of abusing drugs while pregnant and violence against him. He sought to have her pay him child support.
He demanded Joseline be ordered to undergo a drug test immediately after the birth. At one point, he accused her of drinking and using drugs before the birth.
Joseline gave birth to their daughter in December. Stevie recently avoided prison time in his $1 million back child support criminal case, receiving only probation.
