Common To Star In Action Thriller, ‘Quick Draw’
Common (real name Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr.) has snagged the lead in the new revenge action thriller, ‘Quick Draw’. Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Content Media, have signed on to produce the film, which will begin shooting this summer. The film will reportedly feature hyper-intense shootouts, choreographed car chases and hand-to-hand combat and is set in LA.
Common’s acting career includes starring significant roles in the films Smokin’ Aces, Street Kings, American Gangster, Wanted, Terminator Salvation, Date Night, Just Wright, Happy Feet Two, New Year’s Eve and Run All Night, Being Charlie. He also narrated the award-winning documentary Bouncing Cats, about one man’s efforts to improve the lives of children in Uganda through hip-hop/b-boy culture. He starred as Elam Ferguson on the AMC western television series Hell on Wheels.
