Mel B Files For Divorce From Husband

It’s a wrap for Mel B (real name Melanie Brown) and Stephen Belafonte. The “America’s Got Talent” TV personality and former Spice Girl has split from the producer, after close to 10 years of marriage, according to a report.

The petition was filed on Monday in LA court and Mel B cited irreconcilable differences. They have been separated, according to the court docs, since December 28th.

Over the last few years, there have been unconfirmed reports of domestic violence in their relationship. Mel B, who is asking asking a judge to deny spousal support, has yet to comment publicly about their split.
