Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly is making headlines for his recent comments about California Rep. Maxine Waters. While appearing on ‘Fox & Friends’ he commented on Waters’ speech, saying that he was distracted by her “James Brown wig.” After watching a clip of the Democratic rep speaking in the House of Representatives. O’Reilly, stated,
I didn’t hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig.
Fox host Ainsley Earhardt defended Waters, saying O’Reilly shouldn’t go after a woman’s looks. See the clip.

After catching heat after his remarks O’Reilly issues an apology saying,
As I have said many times, I respect Congresswoman Maxine Waters for being sincere in her beliefs, I said that again today on Fox & Friends calling her ‘old school.’ Unfortunately, I also made a jest about her hair which was dumb. I apologize.
