Shonda Rhimes’ “The Catch” Canceled, Lands New Show “For The People”
It’s officially over for Shondaland drama, The Catch.
After two seasons on ABC, the network is pulling the plug on the series which starred Mireille Enos and Peter Krause. The drama was produced by Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, however, it was not renewed due to poor ratings.
On a lighter note, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder have been renewed. In addition, ABC has added to its Shondaland slate, a legal drama called “For the People”. This drama follows brand-new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution, handling the most high-profile and high-stakes federal cases in the country — all as their lives intersect in and out of the courtroom.
