Kim Kardashian Explains Why She Married Kris Humphries

Kim Kardashian West recently stopped by the set of Watch What Happens Live and candidly dished on her fallout with Taylor Swift; her sister Kendall’s controversial Pepsi ad and her brief marriage to ex husband, Kris Humphries.  Peep the excerpts below.

On if it has been awkward between Kendall and Taylor since the Snapchat incident:

I don’t know if Kendall was a part of her squad, I don’t think she was. I don’t think it was awkward.

On if she has been in contact with Taylor since the incident:

No.

On why she married Kris Humphries:

That whole situation was really hard for me. At that time I just thought, ‘Holy s—, I’m 30 years old, I better get this together. I better get married.’ I think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they’re getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation.But I knew like honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out.

On Kendall and the Pepsi ad controversy: 

She totally understood at the end of the day, and she felt really awful for it. She just wants to move on from it. You know what I didn’t see it until it already got the attention and so you obviously have a different perspective when everyone is just saying something. I think I was traveling and when I landed I just saw all this stuff come up and so I think anytime anyone does anything they don’t have bad intentions of doing it a certain way. Especially Kendall’s so sensitive, she would never mean for anyone to perceive anything in a negative way.

On being on social media less: 

I think its been so important for me to just be present, so when I’m in my house I’m hardly on my phone. It’s a rule to be present, to communicate and just interact like normal people, I didn’t have that growing up and I want my kids to be [normal].

On why she was happy when Kylie and Tyga split: 

You know, I feel like [there was] a lot of drama, and it doesn’t mean he’s a bad person at all And what was great was that it was so easy, that split. There has not been any drama with her since.

On what are the chances of her mom Kris and Caitlyn speaking again:

Zero. No, I would say two percent. And those are [half-sisters] Kendall and Kylie. That’s their percentage. All fair, I think.
