Demetrius Shipp, Jr. Channels Tupac For Iconic Covers
In honor of the upcoming All Eyez On Me film, VIBE has recreated the three separate times in the ’90s that the late Tupac Shakur covered their magazine. To complete this task, they enlisted Hollywood’s new super talent and Shakur’s lead in the film, Demetrius Shipp, Jr. The uncanny resemblance made the idea a no-brainer to pull off with our production team and the photographer saddled with the hugely stressful project. Photographer Cam Kirk shot Shipp for the three covers.
All Eyez On Me hits theaters June 16th.
