Dave Chapelle To Host Rihanna’s Diamond Ball

Comedian Dave Chappelle will host Rihanna’s upcoming annual charity event in September. Rapper Kendrick Lamar will perform. On September 14th, RiRi’s organization, The Clara Lionel Foundation, will hold its third Diamond Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Rihanna shared the news in a statement, saying:

thrilled that the incomparable Dave Chappelle will kick things off as the official host.

will take the stage for an unforgettable performance.

Rihanna’s foundation promotes education and arts globally. It was founded in 2012 in honor of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Braithwaite.
