Chance The Rapper Concert – 90 People Hospitalized, 50 For Excessive Drinking
90 People Hospitalized at Chance The Rapper Concert
It was a litty type of evening for some Chance the Rapper concert attendees. On Friday (July 21st), more than 90 people were hospitalized during his concert in Connecticut, according to a report. Many were taken to hospitals for excessive drinking. Officers are said to have made 50 underage drinking referrals at Hot 93.7’s Hot Jam concert at Xfinity Theatre. Most of those charged were issued a summons to appear in court. Several other arrests were made throughout the evening.
We hear the crowd was apparently made up of people in their late teens and early 20s, with tailgating, partying and excessive alcohol consumption being described as “extremely prevalent.”
A large number of people hospitalized were underage attendees experiencing “severe intoxication.” Reportedly, there were so many patients that some had to be taken to hospitals outside Hartford for treatment. Other artists performing at the concert were Kyle, PnB Rock and ANoyd.
