50 Cent Threatens To Leave STARZ Network: “Power” doesn’t mean anything to you!
50 Cent Threatens To Leave STARZ
Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson has taken to social media, lashing out on STARZ, the network that airs his hit series ‘Power’. Power was created by Courtney Kemp Agboh and is produced by.
It premiered on June 7, 2014 and has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season. On Monday (July 31st), 50 posted scenes from a recent episode, writing:
I woke up feeling a little different about POWER this morning . If the biggest show on your network doesn’t mean anything, what does your network mean STARZ? I’m taking my talents to south beach f*ck this.
50 is known to use social media to garner the public’s attention, so we’re unsure if his criticism is valid or an effort to increase more interest in the series. Only time will tell.

I would hope he wouldn’t destroy the best show on television. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Starz pretty much let’s them do what they please. Another network will ruin Power and everything it stands for. We see how Fox ruined Empire because little white kids made that show #1. I LOVE 50 as Kanan but if he needs to be bought out and written out, it can be done. Don’t do it 50. Once the show is canceled, you can’t get it back. The distribution sales alone should be a motivating factor in pumping out as many seasons as possible. Why do we only have this problem with black shows? Not one cast member of the Soprano’s on HBO pulled this crap. They kept quiet and cashed every check they got. Black people must do better.
