Sanaa Lathan Cuts Her Hair Off [VIDEO]

Sanaa Lathan has made the big chop! This week, the 45-year-old actress revealed her new hairstyle, a low fade.

We’re told the look is for her new role on Netflix’s film adaptation of the novel, “Nappily Ever After” is underway. The film will follow,

A woman named Violet (played by Sanaa Lathan) with a seemingly flawless life — a great job, a handsome boyfriend who’s a doctor, and a meticulously maintained coiffure. But after an accident at the hair salon, each of these things starts to unravel, and Violet begins to realize that she was living the life she thought she was supposed to live, not the one that she really wanted. She starts to put the pieces back together with a little help from a soulful barber and his young daughter. Violet finds the courage to cast off some of the things that she didn’t really need, starting with the perfectly straightened hair, and find a life that has real meaning.
