Whoopi Goldberg Admits She Was Planning To Quit
Whoopi Goldberg had a change of heart! As you know, this week, The View returned for its 21st season and the show’s staple and moderator, Whoppi, is also back. The 61-year-old comedian has been on the show for 10 years. However, for the past year, it was rumored that she throwing up the deuces to the daytime panel show co-created by Barbara Walters. Whoopi admits,
I wasn’t coming back but my daughter said I think that’s a mistake because we’ve just had a major shakeup and you need to be a part of this conversation.

She continues,
I never thought I would get in as much trouble as I seem to have gotten in. You have to be prepared for half the country to hate you every day. It’s a lot to carry but that’s why I try not to look back.
This season, Whoopi is joined on the panel by Sara Haines, Jedidiah Bila, Paula Faris and Sunny Hostin. The View airs weekdays on ABC.
