Issa Rae Throws A Lemmon Pepper Kick-Back: Samuel L. Jackson, Donald Glover, Janelle Monae, Amandla Stenberg Spotted
Issa Rae Throws Lemmon Pepper Kickback Party
What started off as an innocent get together, ended up looking like a magical ‘Black Excellence’ get together. On Saturday, Issa Rae and her Insecure co-star Yvonne Orji hosted a ‘Lemon Pepper Kick Back’ party in Atlanta. The gathering was ignited when the pair realized that there were a number of black actors and actresses filming in Atlanta over the weekend. Issa began to reach out to a few folk and a low-key bash popped off, which included music, mingling and of course, wings.
We spotted a few famous faces including Samuel L. Jackson, who showed Issa how to properly eat a wing (see the footage above); Atlanta actors Donald Glover and Bryan Tyree Henry; singer Jidenna; singer and actor Luke James; singer and actress Janelle Monae; actress Amandla Stenberg; comedian Lil Rel Howery; TV host and choreographer Fonzworth Bentley; actress Tessa Thompson; actor Mack Wilds and others.
