Nelly’s Girlfriend Shows Support Amidst Rape Allegation
Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, appears to be supporting her man amidst a jaw dropping controversy that he’s currently facing.
Today, Shantel, who was previously engaged to Floyd Mayweather Jr., posted a cute photo of the pair, which some suggest is an act of her showing support of Nelly.
Over the weekend, the 42-year-old rapper was arrested for second degree rape and released a short time later.
The woman, who is 21 years old, claimed she was raped on the rapper’s tour bus in a Walmart parking lot in Washington.

She is said to have met Nelly at a club before joining him for an after-party on the bus. Once there, she alleges he tried to have sex with her and she said no. She claims he told her to “shut up” and proceeded to have sex with her without protection, despite her objections.
Shantel, who is staring in E!’s upcoming reality show, Platinum Life, has yet to comment publicly about the charges. See a teaser for the show, featuring Shantel below.

If this is true, all i want to say is these rappers and entertainers are so stupid to be in a situation where a person can say the word rape. If i was one of these guys, the only thing a woman could report to authorities about me would be that she doesn’t think i gave her enough money for her performance and my argument would be that she thought she was as good as she claimed.
I thought he wasn’t dating Chantel anymore. No man, who is in a committed relationship, should be accused of rape. He really needs to get it together and grow up. He’s in his forties. He has had more sex than most men his age. There’s nothing new or different out here.

Nelly was just in another tour bus situation a few years ago where he copped a misdemeanor drug conviction. He’s too old for this foolery. I hope the allegations are not true. He needs to stay off from friggin tour buses!
