Jordin Sparks and Husband Dana Isaiah Expecting Baby Boy

It’s a boy! Newlyweds Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah took to Instagram to reveal the baby’s gender. Last week, the 27-year-old singer confirmed they had secretly eloped in July and were expecting their first child early next year. On Thanksgiving Day (November 23), Sparks posted,

IT’S A BOY!!! We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list! @_danaisaiah’s gonna have a little mini me running around! We can’t wait to meet him. We love you lil man! ????

In an exclusive statement to People she explained,

We’re beyond excited to be having a little boy. We cannot wait to meet him and love him so much already! We’re both really excited, He’s been like, ‘I want to shout it from the mountain tops!’ We’re really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this.

She also discussed her changing physique adding,

I’ve always loved my curves. Now I have different ones and I’m excited about them. For the past month, it’s been this in-between stage where I’ve been taking a hair tie and clipping the hole of [my] jeans onto the little buckle. It kind of helps open them a little bit. Then that stopped working and I was just like ‘Babe, can I wear your sweatpants?’ I’ve been wearing his sweatpants all the time!

The couple met in February while Sparks was in Houston during Super Bowl weekend. Reportedly, they eloped while on vacation in Hawaii with a small group of friends. On their relationship she stated,

It just more solidifies the whole team sentiment of a relationship. You know you’re still individuals, but at the same time everything is about ‘we’ and ‘us’ as opposed to ‘you’ and ‘I.’

I’d gone through a crazy time last year, so I was just like ‘You know what? I’m good. I’m going to stay single. I’m just not going to look…He just showed up at my door.
