“The Real” – We’re NOT Hiring Ray J

Ray J will not be taking his talents to daytime TV. This week, the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member made headlines when he implied that he was joining ‘The Real’ as a co-host. He posted a photo with the co-hosts, captioning it:

Looks like a got a new job!!! Stay tuned!! #TheRealwithRayJ #telepictures #DaytimeTV

The Real co-hosts addressed the rumor on their show, admitting that they were surprised when they saw the news. Adrienne Bailon stated,

I saw it on, the Jasmine Brand. They were like, ‘Oh, I guess Ray J is the new host.’ I was like, ‘Wait, what?’

Loni Love set the record straight, telling viewers,

I checked with executives and the producers and there is no talk of hiring you Ray J. (laughs). We love you.
