Taraji P. Henson Signs New PR, After Manager Accused of Sexually Harassing 9 Women
Taraji P. Henson officially has new representation. Reportedly, the 47-year-old Oscar and Emmy nominee has signed with publicity firm 42West.
Previously, she was represented by Pam Sharp of Sharp & Associates. Pam is the longtime girlfriend of manager Vincent Cirrincione. Henson was represented by both Sharp and Cirrincione. Earlier this month, Cirrincione made headlines, after nine women accused him of sexual harassment and misconduct.
Henson, who stars on Empire, took to social media reacting to the accusations of her then manager stating,
I feel saddened, disappointed and ashamed. Everyone knows how difficult this industry has been for women and my hope is that all of these unspeakable events ignite true change in the treatment of women in this entertainment business.
Meanwhile, Cirrincione admitted to having, affairs but stated that all interactions were consensual.
I have never used favors, sexual or otherwise, as a reason for managing anyone. I apologize to these women, my past and present partner, my clients and employees for the pain this is bringing them.
