‘Chicago Fire’ Actress DuShon Monique Brown Dies At 49 [Condolences]
Very sad news, actress DuShon Monique Brown, has died at the age of 49. She most recently played a secretary in the NBC show “Chicago Fire”.
Reportedly, she died Friday at St. James Olympia Field Hospital outside Chicago. The cause of death wasn’t given, but it has been reported that she suffered cardiac arrest. Reportedly, a few days ago Brown admitted herself to a Chicago hospital after suffering chest pains. She is said to have taken tests, but was released a short time later.
On Friday, Brown was reportedly at home when her family called paramedics because she was feeling ill. She was taken to the hospital, where she died around noon.
Brown was known for her performances as Nurse Katie Welch on the Fox series Prison Break and Connie in NBC series Chicago Fire. Brown in Chicago, previously worked at Chicago’s Kenwood Academy High School as a crisis counselor and drama instructor. She leaves behind a daughter, Zoe.
