Mariah Carey Ex Fiancé Checks Into Mental Health Facility

Mariah Carey’s ex fiance, James Packer, has reportedly checked himself into a psychiatric hospital. According to reports, the 50-year-old billionaire is at McLean Hospital, an ultra-exclusive $35,000-a-week facility in Mexico. Last week, it was reported that he was stepping down from his gambling empire Crown Resorts due to

mental health issues. 

Packer had openly discussed his struggles with depression following the collapse of his telco company in 2001 and his split from Carey. Prior to his engagement to Carey, Packer was married to ex-wife Erica Baxter. The couple separated five years ago. They have three children. Carey has yet to comment on Packer’s condition.
