Naomi Campbell – I Want Vogue to Add African Edition!
Naomi Campbell is making it crystal clear that she wants more representation for people of color, when it comes to the fashion industry. The supermodel believes that Africa lacks proper representation in fashion and is urging Vogue to add an African edition. She explains,
Africa has never had the opportunity to be out there and their fabrics and their materials and their designs be accepted on the global platform … it shouldn’t be that way.
She adds,
People have come to realize it is not about the color of your skin to define if you can do the job or not.
