EXCLUSIVE: Kodak Black – Prosecutors Demand He Take A DNA Swab Test In Criminal Case
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, prosecutors want Kodak Black (real name Dieuson Octave) to provide his DNA. Last month, prosecutors filed court documents asking that the 20-year-old rapper submit to a DNA test so they can obtain samples. They explain that they obtained DNA swaps of the guns and ammunition from the scene of the arrest (Kodak’s home) and they want to compare the swaps taken with Kodak’s DNA to determine if the weapons were his.
Here’s the backstory: Kodak was arrested by Broward Sheriff officers several days after a guest at his Florida home live-streamed people handling marijuana and a handgun around an infant. He was ordered held without bail because he was already on probation. The search of his home found more drugs and weapons. He faces seven felony charges including child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and marijuana possession.
Octave is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Florence, South Carolina, hotel room in 2016. He has been jailed several times in Broward County after violating probation.
