EXCLUSIVE: Too Short Sued For Skipping Concert
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Too $hort is being sued for allegedly bailing on a show despite him being paid $8k as a deposit. A promoter sued Too $hort and his representative Ricky Aaron in Los Angeles Court.
Back in September, the promoter explains he entered into a deal with Aaron for $hort to perform at the “Blazer’s Cup” in San Bernardino, which was to go down in December.
The deal was to pay the rapper a total of $16k with half of it to be paid before the show. The promoter says he sent over the $8k deposit. However, he claims the rapper’s representative told Aaron he would not be performing despite his contractual obligations.
Aaron says he had already announced $hort would be performing and sold a significant amount of tickets. As a result of the rapper canceling, he says he had to refund cash to customers demanding refunds. The lawsuit is seeking in excess of $60k plus interest
