Kobe Bryant In Talks to Settle ‘Black Mamba’ Battle
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Kobe Bryant is in talks to settle his battle over “Black Mamba” with a pharmaceutical company over the use of the name.
The NBA legend – via his company Kobe Inc – filed docs to block a company named Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals from being able to register to trademark “Black Mamba HYPERRUSH”.
The pharma company wanted to trademark the name to sell diet pills. Kobe admitted he had filed docs after the pharma company, but he was the legit Black Mamba. He demanded they not be allowed to trademark the name and profit off his years of making the name valuable.
Hi-Tech demanded Kobe not be allowed to block them and said nobody would be confused. The battle has been going on for close to a year.
Recently, docs were filed revealing Kobe and the pharma company are currently negotiating for a possible settlement of this case. Both parties are asking for the deadlines to be suspended while they work out a deal to settle the entire case.
