Jamie Foxx Stars In ‘Robin Hood’

Jamie Foxx is taking aim at the holiday box office for his latest role in “Robin Hood.” For this adaptation of the legendary tale, Foxx is playing Little John. A Moorish teacher schooling Robin of Loxley (Taron Egerton), who just got back from war, on how to “steal from the rich.” Little John, along with “Hood” and a group of outlaws devise a plan to revolt against the corrupt English crown by stealing the royal treasury.Foxx’s character can be heard telling Robin Hood,

You were a Lord, but now you get to be a thief, and I’m going to show you how.

The film is a fresh adaptation of the classic story of the Bandit of Sherwood Forest; complete with thrilling action and adventure, also starring Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) as Robin Hood’s half-brother Will Scarlet.
