Michelle Williams Says She’s ‘Better’ After Checking Herself Into Mental Health Facility, Posts Message To Fans
Michelle Williams has released an update to her fans on social media. Over the weekend, she wrote,
I feel the (heart emoji)! I just wanted to let you guys know I’m better!
The Destiny’s Child member has struggled with depression for years.
She has spoken about her struggle in the past and earlier this month she checked herself into a mental health facility just outside of Los Angeles for a few days. She released a statement saying,
For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing. Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need.
