Anthony Anderson Denies Assault Accusations
Black-ish star Anthony Anderson is in hot water. An unidentified woman who catered an event for Anthony, claims the actor assaulted her during a business meeting. Details on the incident are being kept under wraps, but a spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed that an ongoing investigation is taking place. Anderson is reportedly denying the accusations. His representative issued the following statement:
It is unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.

This isn’t Anderson’s first time being accused of misconduct. In 2004, a woman accused the actor of forcing her to have sex with him in a trailer on the set of his film, “Hustle and Flow.” That case was thrown out, with Judge Anthony Johnson commenting during a preliminary hearing for the case:
This is absolutely the most suspicious case I’ve ever heard.
Could these accusations affect the future of Black-ish?
