Amina Buddfly Calls Out Peter Gunz For Missing Daughter’s Birthday

Amina Buddafly and Peter Gunz are at odds over the details of their daughter’s 4th birthday. Apparently, the Love & Hip Hop: NY star missed his daughter, Cori Gunz’s birthday party in Germany, after allegedly making promises he would be there. The parents kicked off the week by exchanging several messages back and forth via social media, but it seems to have all started with Peter sending a happy birthday message to his daughter on Instagram.

The father shared an image of the 4-year-old in her birthday-themed, aqua blue Cinderella dress, as his caption read,

Couldn’t make it to Hamburg Germany to bring in my baby girl @iamcorigunz 4th birthday so I’m sending my love and wishing you a very happy birthday!! I will be waiting for you in LA ..

Amina caught wind of the message and commented her thoughts on Peter’s post, she wrote,

U ain’t gona be waiting for nobody in L.A. u ain’t gona be there when get back like u wasn’t there last month and the month before the month before that, despite saying u will…posting on here but not one call…saying u was gona come to Germany when we knew u wasn’t gona make it was whack, and honestly in the past I’ve gotten disappoint by you lots but this is the very first time in my life I’m disappointed in you as a FATHER. We good. We get it. And we will be fine. My daughters got all they need deuces.

He responded to her remarks, attempting to make amends, stating,

I’ve tried everything in my power to make it to Germany and I’m sorry I can’t make it to LA on a regular basis but one thing that’s for certain is I do the very best I can for my family…I’m sure Jazz Gina Erika and Tara can point out me missing a few birthdays right here in the states, What I suggest is that you FaceTime me or call me.. we gave the world enough of our personal business they are over this storyline… until then peace

Amina took it a step further to clarify her frustration, taking to her Instagram story to say,

To be clear I’m not mad Peter missed his daughters birthday, I understand how his life is and the details behind him not coming, like I said: we good, we wish he was a bigger part in their lives but don’t need him. I just don’t like someone continuously making promises they don’t keep, that is all.

Peter later shared a lengthy post speaking to his fatherhood, which has now been deleted. The beginning of the caption read,

One thing I pride myself in is my kids no matter how bad of a boyfriend or husband I am I love and take care of my kids. I’m not a perfect dad I can definitely do better but when you spread yourself as thin as I have time and money is extremely tight…

Peter also later followed up with an Instagram Live for “Lunch Talk,” which is a part of his platform where he has discussions with his followers about subjects going in the media or the daily difficulties of life. For Monday’s Live, he highlighted his and Amina’s social media spat. He discussed how felt he gave social media too much

I took it [Live Video] down because I went to deep into it. I don’t have to explain to nobody how I feel about my kids. I love my kids. My family and friends know who I am, that’s it.

Peter’s initial message to his daughter has since been altered and the comment feature has been disabled. The caption now reads,

Can’t have all that ugly shit under this beautiful picture…But we can get ugly at 1pm on my live tune in..
