Lil’ Kim Shuts Down Questions About Nicki Minaj: Stop Asking Me!

Brooklyn native, Lil’ Kim, is attempting to lay questions to rest regarding the subject of Nicki Minaj. Kim recently discussed her new projects and music, until host Bootleg Kev, asked about Kim’s feelings towards the title of Nicki Minaj’s 4th studio album, “Queen.” As Kim began to give an answer, someone from her camp can be heard – out of frame – blabbering, “No Nicki questions(!),” Kim proceeded to question the host,

“Let me ask you this. Do you f*ck with me, for real?”

After receiving an answer, she continued,

“Well if you fuck with me, why isn’t this about Kim? Because if we gone mention them all. We need to mention everybody. We need to bring everybody in. God bless her. What she did, she did. But you know what, God bless her. I wish her the best. I’m past that I’m over it, so at the end of the day – no! this is going to stay,”

As her voice builds momentum, she added,

“Stop asking me about ol’ girl or that chick! But she did what she did, and she’s ready to – hopefully God puts it on her mind, or somebodies mind – do the right thing. Once that happens, then you know, hopefully everyone will stop asking me. Because y’all don’t do that to her. At the end of the day, every time stuff like this comes out, it’s like, ‘Why she is still talkin’ about it(?),” but you are the ones asking me about the situations.”

As the host tried to make nice after the mention of Minaj’s name, he interjects by stating he gave Bronx native, Remy Ma, the same style of questioning. Kim followed by advocating for inclusivity among females in the rap industry. Kim exclaims,

“Yeah, but that’s what I’m saying, we need to stop doing that. Because that automatically puts females against each other. Let each female shine. So when Remy’s up here, ask her about her f*cking dope ass bars she got! B*tch is nice!”

She continued on the Remy notion,

“Ask her what she got going on, ask her about her life. Do that please, for me, let’s not even go back to the situation. Let’s give every girl – including ol’ girl – their own privacy! Let’s give every girl their own recognition. Celebrate every girl in their own right.”

As she concluded, she gave steps on how critics could get to that point,

“So the only way to do that, is to focus on what they’re doing and what they got going on.”

It’s unclear what Kim is referencing when she mentions Nicki causing an inflection in their relationship. Nicki is set to do a live Q&A via Apple Radio on Beats 1 with radio personality, Ebro Darden, on Thursday. Maybe, she’ll put these rumors to rest once and for all.
