Very alarming news surrounding Aretha Franklin. According to multiple reports, the ‘Queen of Soul’ is ‘deathly ill’. The 76-year-old singer is said to be surrounded by relatives, a reporter and family friends in Detroit. The family is asking for prayers and privacy.

The Grammy-Award winning singer was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. She last performed in November 2017 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation in New York. Her final public performance was in Philadelphia in August 2017. No additional details have been released.
