Nicki Minaj Hairstylists at War: Kim Kimble Reveals Tokyo Stylez Doesn’t Have a Cosmetology License
Celebrity hairstylist, Tokyo Stylez is receiving some backlash after allegedly shading one of his former clients, Nicki Minaj. Minaj’s other hairstylist, Kim Kimble caught wind of the shade and revealed Stylez – who styled Minaj’s vibrant pink braids for the MotorSport video – allegedly doesn’t hold a cosmetology license. Kimble made this information public by sharing a screenshot where Stylez is originally throwing shade, along with the exposing caption. After Stylez posted a video of his hair work done on Cardi B for the 2018 VMAs, an Instagram user gave their opinion on the hairstyle selected.
Isabella_baby_4 commented and said,
“Hair ugly ass tf”
Stylez responded,
“and let me guess u thought those thin ass ponytails was cute”
After receiving a bit of backlash for the rapper’s hair choice, Kimble took matters into her own hands. In her exposing caption she wrote,
“Instagram doesn’t create licensed or professional hairdressers. We all get negative comments sometimes, but why try to drag someone else into it when we can support each other? Sending positive vibes and support to licensed hairstylists.”
Kimble had originally shared that she styled the rapper for the VMAs, and since Kimble’s post was shared, Stylez has disabled the comments on the aforementioned post.
Stylez has yet to respond to these new alleged claims.
